Who We Are

HOPE CENTER LEBANON

Lebanon has been experiencing an economic and social crisis of unprecedented magnitude since 2019. This ongoing Lebanon economic crisis was further aggravated by the coronavirus pandemic and the trauma of the explosion at the port of Beirut on August 4, 2020, which left hundreds of thousands homeless and jobless. The sharp rise in prices since July 2019 has greatly affected the standard of living, especially knowing that, simultaneously, household incomes started collapsing. In addition, the local microfinance sector has suffered greatly from the collapse of the banking sector.

Our project offers a concrete solution to the lack of professional opportunities for the Lebanese people by providing vital business support in Lebanon. By empowering more than 550 entrepreneurs, the Hope Center is an effective micro-project incubator and a strong symbol of hope, allowing people to live with dignity from their own work. After successfully completing Phase One of our initiative, Hope Center is proud to announce that we are now officially in Phase Two of our entrepreneurial support program, continuing our mission to rebuild and uplift the community.

Mission

We work to empower vulnerable individuals in Lebanon for sustainable, dignified livelihoods by providing micro-enterprise financial support and capacity-building programs.

Vision

A Lebanon where every vulnerable entrepreneur has access to meaningful economic opportunities to build a self-reliant livelihood.
